DEWITT, Ellsworth C. - Putnam

Ellsworth C. Dewitt, 73, died Wednesday at his home in Indianapolis. He was born Oct 18, 1870 in Putnam County the son of Willis and Mariah O’Conner Dewitt. He married Sarah Ellen Myers. Survivors are the wife, 3 daughters, Mrs. William Jones, Bowling Green, Ky; four sons: Marshall and Alva DeWitt of Indianapolis and Harold Dewitt of Kansas City, MO; Pvt Benjamin Dewitt of Camp Wheeler, GA; 16 grandchildren, two great grandchildren and 4 sisters. Burial was in Roachdale Cemetery.
